What resolution is it in? Is it optimized for PC viewing or would it be optimized for say my future 3G iPhone? Can I put it on both my PC and iPhone??? THanks.

I believe iTunes movies are 640 x 480 (except for the hi-res ones that are available through 
TV. You can view them on your computer, your iPhone, iPod, etc.

yeah I have put them on my tv through an hdmi port and I wouldn't say its the best quality but it isn't as bad as vhs
