hey all, i have a 17" brand new imac (1.25GHz G4, 256 DDR333, 80GB, 4x superdrive) and a Sony CD Mavica MVC-CD250 digital camera. Using it with iPhoto is painfully slow, not to mention i hate iphoto, but i wanted to use the finalized discs in the CD drive. i put it in, and what happens? nothing. i even tried it with the "big CD" adapter, nothing. doesnt mount it, doesnt recognize it. i even went in and tried the mount -t iso9660 unix command with it. nothing. it spins, doesn't read it. none of the finalized CDs i have work, but they work fine with linux and windows on other computers (i dont have YDL on there to try it out). does anyone know what the issue is? the drive works fine for DVDs, CDs... so it doesnt seem like a hardware problem. it can read other burned CDs fine. Also, the finalized cd from the camera is a CD-R, not a CD-RW. any help will be greatly appreciated.
