I sincerely hope Clark can gather some steam before this man is nominated by the Democrats. Dean would be a disaster.

He is too soft and he won't open his records to the public. So he must be hiding something.

Just remember that Clinton had 3% at this time before the nomination process began.
There is much that will happen between now and the Democratic convention next year.
It will be one fun year to watch that is for sure.

The argument that Dean is not a viable candidate in a national election because he isn't garnering much support from party insiders has got to be just about the poorest argument against his candidacy that can be advanced with a straight face. The same was said about Jimmy Carter, who was also the target of a "stop" counterinsurgency, and he went on to beat an incumbent. I'm sure Dean will face much the same thing, if only because he's the leader at the moment and everyone will be gunning for him.
