I just spec'd up two power books on the uk apple store.
Both machines are identical apart from a 1GHz processor and a 1.25GHz processor. And guess what, the 1.25GHz is cheaper by £1.97!
Check it out for your self - the spec of the machines I built were
512MB DDR333 SDRAM - 2 SO-DIMMs
• 60GB Ultra ATA drive (4200rpm)
• DVD/CD-RW
• AirPort Extreme Card
• Backlit Keyboard & Mac OS
• 15.2-inch TFT display
• RADEON Mobility 9600 - 64MB DDR
