Why the fan is running so loud?

Recently i just bought a new 20" imac. when i try to switch it on today, the fan sound generated from the back of the imac seems louder then before. Didn't happen before. Is there anything wrong with it?

Hmm. Have you installed any applications that boot on start-up? I used to get that when i had too many apps on start-up on my Mini.
