I have a 17" MBP with the optional high res/lcd display. Its about 3 months old.

About a week ago whenever I loaded a page with a number of pictures, the picture would blink rapidly and continuously until it loaded. It doesnt happen every time, but seems to happen when there are multiple pics or a large pic.

I've also noticed it occasionally during youtube playback also. This is just within the last couple of days.

I've done a couple of hard reboots just in case it had something to do with lack of available memory, etc.

For what its worth, my mbp has 2 gb of ram and while doing this has nothing other than Safari running.

So?? Have any of you heard of this?

Is it hardware? Software??

Thanks,

Don

I would say on if only on YouTube (or Adobe, however you want to wear that hat), that's their fault... 😉

But, because you said just opening pages with large pictures, i guess I don't know, that doesn't seem normal... 😕

Next?...

I just noticed it on youtube.

Its worst when loading pages with large photos.
