I saw that Amazon.com is offering a free iSight camera with certain powerbook purchases and that the deal expires on the 14th. This was my first time checking Amazon for a powerbook and was wondering if they regularly offer incentives such as this (like most of the apple webdealers do), or if the norm is for them to just sell the computer without freebies. Anybody know?

i think it's pretty normal. when i got my ibook they were offering free palm zires. seems like something they just do every now and then with more expensive items (though they also do things like free memory cards with digital cameras and whatnot).

It's what amazon does to clear out old stock.
