View Full Version : Where can i buy a 2.5 500GB laptop hard drive?

I have read some time ago that Hitachi (i think) would be selling one soon. I have check amazon but without luck, can anyone direct me to someone selling it?

Thinking of putting a 500GB drive in my MacBook and i just cant wait.

NowDirect has them really cheap, and OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Hitachi/0A53487/) has them, too.

The only issue with that drive from OWC is that for Macs, it only fits in the 17" MBP.

OWC does have a DIY kit with the Samsung 500GB drive.
