When/if I upgrade to Snow Leopard, will Time Machine install all my documents/files onto my new OS, as I like to clean install my operating systems?

When I clean install, will I be able to plug in the external herd drive, I use for Time Machine, and Time Machine will install all my files & documents?

Thanks

A feature like this should be available, but since it is not announced, one can't tell for sure yet. Also, since Snow Leopard appears Intel only, the applications can be lightened up, but one would guess universal applications will work without change (and PPC only applications will not). This is only educated guess at this time.
