DC's starting to look a little old. But still makes a good action hero. Except the pout.

Though I made fun of "the pout" that DC always has (still giggle about it), I REALLY thought the last movie was a franchise resurrection, much like Batman Returns. I really appreciate the less-gadgety, more-actiony of the new bond films. I also like the plot connection between films, rather than the stand-alone style of all previous films.

This one looks like fun, and I can't wait to see it. 2008 is really shaping up to be a great year for movies!

But finally.. will they PLEASE stop ****ing up beautiful Aston Martins?!?

You think Craig is looking old? I think he's got 5 or 6 more to go... I really believe that he could go down as the best Bond before he's done (or at very least, a close second).

If Quantum of Solace is as good as Casino Royale, he'll already the best.


The "best" bond is relative ---- none of them have been particularly incredible, IMO. I think Pierce Brosnan may have been the best, except that his script sucked, as did the plot. Hey, it's not HIS fault! :p Goldeneye was pretty much the pinnacle of Bond-dom for me. However, I must say that I'm glad to see Bond kick ass and have sex again. ;)

The days of the roguish, happy go lucky Bond was over with the departure of Q.:( I missed hearing his "Do pay attention 007" spiel.:cool::p A lot of old Bond lore got tossed out with Casino Royale ie."shaken, not stirred" martini, bad guys revealing his entire plan and so on. But it makes sense, since the new Bond is a gritty, anti-hero type you don't want to run into in a dark alley.:D He'd probably throttle Q during the demonstration if before he can say "Do pay att--eh...aah...uugghh...":D

On a side note, the new Bond girl is pure Russian Hotness: Olga Kurylenko. Oh, she can act too.:D:p She should challenge Ursala Andress a best Bond girl, IMO.:cool:

That's the Bond from the books coming back. A serious secret agent who cared about his mission and was not a womanizer unless they had some information he wanted. :cool: :)

That title is awful. So cringeworthy...

...but the film does look good. Didn't like the last one, thought the pacing was well off... but this looks better.

Can't wait to see it, but I really don't see how they could build on Casino Royale either way it will be a very good money spinner for Sony.

There have been plenty of complaints about the title personally Quantum Of Solace sounds like a rubbish 1980's Art-House film made by a socially-inept German computer hacker who was bullied a lot as a child because he wet the bed.

Casino Royale was an impressive re-birth of Bond but there was room for improvement. Where was the tension in the gambling scene? They cut in and out of it to many times and it had no intensity. I hope Quantum is ever so slightly more Bondish... Score was good in Casino Royale though.

If I remember correctly in the book Casino Royale Bond went rouge to get the info he needed which they didn't really portray in the film, more like he went on holiday. With M's quote it seems to me that they will try to make that more prominent in this movie.
