EDMONTON - Edmonton will get its first taste of an Apple store on Saturday July 5 at 10 a.m. when the computing giant opens at West Edmonton Mall, the company announced today

Good thing Apple is finally having more stores in Canada. I wish there was one closer to me, I mean there are 3 in Toronto but it's like an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic to get there. I'd rather have one in the town that's 15 min. away from me but oh well.

for me? 3 hours.
although I usually go to the stores in Chicago. (Orland Park and Michigan Ave, I have family that lives there)

congrats Canada! that mall sounds awesome

And Apple continues to gain market share and change the retail experience. I really hope that we get one in Waco. We are getting tons of big name stores here now as the city grows and it would be nice not to drive to Austin or Dallas and of course it would be nice to work in one. I have no doubt that I could get hired as I have Apple experience + two years of retail.

Um, isn't that what the article said too?
More than 600 people packed the 6,000-square-foot West Edmonton Mall location within the first hour, cheering along with Apple Store staff, while still more waited in line.
