My brother knows the Apple iPhone sales director for the southeast or east (not sure which) and he said that Apple sells the iPhone to AT&T for $500. So I guess that would be ~ the non-subsidized price. I hadn't heard anywhere for sure what Apple was charging for them, so I thought I would let you all know. I don't know if thats for the 16GB or 8, but I assume the 16GB. Plus he said he had a goal of selling 7 million of the 3G this year. He has his work cut out for him 🙂
