Greetings all

In a few months or I am planing on running away from PC and buying myself a MBP. As a start of to my lowered gaming life, I am planing on taking up my drawing again, and hopefully I still got some of it in me, thou it is over 15 years since I left it.

Now I am looking for a graphic program which has vector graphic option.
Many years ago I tried Adobe Illustrator, which worked great, since you can import scanned images as background the easily redraw them on the computer. Adobe is very expensive for hobby use only, else I would have gone with Photoshop and Illustrator, since I am used to work with Photoshop.

Anyone know any good simple vector graphic programs, they can recommend?

Thanks I looked at it.
No way I will get anthing of MS, and It seems Macromedia is now Adobes.
Perhaps I can get Illustrator from a friend instead, atleast an older version.

I can't exactly recommend it, since I haven't used it enough yet to decide how well it works, but you might also want to check out VectorDesigner (http://www.tweakersoft.com/vectordesigner/).

you could try inkscape: http://www.inkscape.org/

i've given it a shot before...it's pretty good. It's no illustrator, but it's not bad once you get used to it.

Thanks Jason, it works good, takes alittle getting used to after so long not working with vectors. I will defently keep this one i mind once I get started.
