mounting LOD disk image fails

I'm trying to mount a disk image on my macbook pro 2.5 ghz. when i use disk utility it doesnt even begin to mount the image, saying "Unable to create Lord of Destruction.dmg. (internal file system error).

how do i fix this or get around this problem?

when you save the disk image, change the image format to DVD/CD master. It will then allow you to burn the disc image.
