Water In Macbook Screen...Please Help...

I got water in my Macbook Screen and I live in Japan as a college student, Apple wants 70,000円 for a replacement screen and there is no way I can afford that. Attached is a picture of my screen, any advice for a college student with basic skills, on how to fix this as much as possible?

Please help, ironicly today is the one year anniversary for my Macbook and I'm also getting my CPUs at 100% with something called "syslogd" and every time I manually turn it off, it turns back off. :(

If you can't afford to get it fixed (that's why I buy apple care),
then I guess you will just have to live with it.

As long as it doesn't affect your work for now, I would just start saving your pennies..

Besides, the new macbook is supposed to come out in the next few months anyways.. So this may be a good thing. :p

AppleCare doesn't cover water or any kind of accidental damage, making it essentially worthless.

The best thing the OP can do is buy a screen from a parts vendor and replace it himself.

Dumb question for you. Did the screen crack on the back side? I ask because there looks like a crack on the screen. Not sure if I am just seeing things. If so you are looking at a 1200.00 repair. However, you may be able to find a part on ebay. Sorry that happened to you

I had liquid in my screen too... and it dried out after several days

He can replace the screen himself for much less than what an authorized Apple repair service center can do it for. A 13" MacBook screen identical to what Apple uses runs about $550.00 (for the latest MacBook model).

His only problem is that he's in Japan.

They also include step by step comprehensive instructions. However, I don't know if they would ship a screen to you in Japan.
