If I'm porting my number to AT&T, do they still do a credit check?

I plan on porting my number from T-Mobile on the 11th, but I wanted to know if AT&T is doing a credit check, or not doing one because I already have established a wireless contract.

Of course they will, you may already have a wireless plan but not with them.

of course, just because you have a wireless account already, doesn't mean you may not have bad credit. AT&T will run a credit check.

Credit Check is just part of the process. They'll also check to see if your cell phone number is able to be ported to AT&T...
