Pop in the Leopard disc on another PC with a DVD drive...copy the drivers folder to the desktop, then download the newer Bootcam 2.1 drivers and burn both directories to a new CD/DVD.

You need a torrent downloader program to download it after you download the .torrent file, so download this, it's free and good:

Do those drivers work with a 2.5GHz Penryn? I thought there were new drivers needed for just about every new revision of MacBook Pro? Kinda left my Mac OS X install disc in Singapore by accident... won't get back to them until the 13th...

Anyone know? I thought we always had to had specific drivers for each different model. Or are they all generic?

Why don't you try them? The worse that will happen is they won't work and you'll need to reformat XP, leaving you right back where you are now.
The best thing that can happen is the drivers work and XP will be fine.
You really can't lose.

Didn't work for me. Anyone can get the drivers from a Penryn "MacBook pro Install disc?" the first grey disc that came with the MBP, from a Penryn unit.

Go to intel's site to download the 965 Express mobile chipset drivers. Go to laptopvideo2go.com for the video card drivers. These are not all the drivers to get everything working, but will cover a large amount of hardware.
Good Luck!
