Preventing Future Updates

Is the anyway to prevent my AppleTV from auto-downloading future software updates? I've hacked my AppleTV and don't want an update to wipe all my changes.

log via Terminal into ATV and enter the following command:

sudo bash -c 'echo "127.0.0.1 mesu.apple.com" >> /etc/hosts'
