Is this the correct RAM to buy for a MBP?

It's just a rounding thing. Companies round off the memories. The 5400 is actually 675 MHz but rounded off as 667. Both the chips though are virtually the same imo.

I think both would work and the PC2 5400 would just throttle to 667 MHz.

Awesome. Thanks for the help again. Can't wait to actually get used to the new Mac OSX.

If it's anything like other apple software I'm used to, then I'll be in for a treat. 😀

Yeah. No problem. You will love OS X. I do. So do almost all the people who try it.

You'll learn fast enough to start using it.
 
Quick question, didnt see a need to open a new topic... How much is a 'normal' amount of wired ram, with 4gb on a 2.4ghz MBP?

I use to sit around 120 or so, now i'm up to 460 (after restart and all...). Maybe its the way Leopard handles/optimizes added ram?
