So I finally got windows working in both Parallels and Boot Camp and I just figured I might as well "celebrate" this by getting something from Steam. Mostly just to try it. Any suggestions on something cheap? $20 or so. I already have Obox for PS3 so I don't need any of those but I was thinking Counter-Strike: Soure (maybe with Garry's Mod) or Audiosurf.

So what do you think?

On a side note I'm pretty surprised with the Crysis demo. It runs around 30fps in game and about 5 on the main menu on my iMac.

Orange Box is a million times better than any of the console versions, they have more maps (Portal and TF2), the TF2 class updates. I could go on

Audiosurf is fantastic. It gets a little tiring after a while but it's a great deal, and I think you get the Orange Box OST with it (or at least you did with the preorder).

I'd go for that and HL2: Deathmatch.

Orange Box, no question!

Half Life 2 Epsiode 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. Masters of the Source engine, they are...:D

I do have to admit that I really was thinking about getting TF2 but I just decided that I don't really want to re-buy a game. Even if it's so much better on PC.

The Orange box doesn't just have TF2 included. It has Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal AND TF2.

And for the price, I can't remember exactly, £25? It's a bloody bargain. If you don't buy it, well, you're just not human... ;)

I don't know what are your specs but Unreal Tournament 3 is pretty good. It's a good old school FPS, you jump, strafe and blow people up.
Orange Box is a no brainer obviously. Call of Duty 4 is pretty good also.

UT3 isn't bad but I'd go for UT2004, more people playing online. I bought the whole Unreal pack for £27. That's why I love Steam :D

As I said in my first post. I already own Obox for PS3. I don't want to buy the whole thing again, at most I would just buy TF2 again, but I really just want something different ;).

My system:
24" iMac
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB ram

EDIT: I guess I have narrowed it down to Counter Strike: Source or re-purchasing TF2. I'm really not too sure about buying a game twice even if it's more active and gets updates, so I will probably get CS.

Peggle . . . it's cheap . . just friggen d/l it. It's the best casual game EVER. I suggest Peggle, Audiosurf, and Day of Defeat: Source (or Counterstrike: Source) if you're more familiar with it.

Counterstrike:S maybe

How about Ricochet Lost Worlds
There is a mac version too, but windows has one that is the ultimate version or something like that.

Peggle

Good God YES. I beat it in one night but it's just so damn brilliant. If they added some form of replayability (custom levels etc) then it would be too big for words. It's so megaly addictive.

My girlfriend has that Tomb Raider Anniversary on Steam, that was about £10 and worth every penny she says
