Iphone thickness.

Is iphone 3G thinner than 2G, or is it the same, it looks thinner. If anybody has tech specs on both can you please post them.
 
Original:
4.5 in (115 mm) (h)
2.4 in (61 mm) (w)
0.46 in (11.6 mm) (d)

3G:
4.5 in (115.5 mm) (h)
2.4 in (62.1 mm) (w)
0.48 in (12.3 mm) (d)
 
Kinda like the MBA, with the phrase "at its thinnest point"

I can't wait for the 11th, oh so close.
 
The few write-ups by people who have held them is that the overall impression is of a thinner device that fits your hand better, even though at the very thickest point it is slightly thicker. We shall see.
 
Hey guys, when the answer is already given there is no need for 'EVER USED GOOGLE?!?!' or things like that. Just don't post, it brings the thread back up and it'll give people an incentive to boost their post count

Thanks for the info and the sarcasm, I needed that. Just couldnt easily find the specs on the old iphone everytime i look for iphone i keep getting 3G info.
