My iPod Video has been broken for 2 months now. Well not broken, but the right audio does not work and no, its not the headphones. I have tried at least 4 pairs already. I really want a 32 gig ipod touch, but should I just wait until the update this September? or should I just get one now? What do you think the new features will be for the iPod Touch?
It's killing me that I don't have a "working" iPod. :apple:

The change in the fall will likely only be a price shift. So if you want to wait, you'd probably be able to get the 32GB for $400, assuming that the 8GB is dropped.

If you can get a new one for that price on ebay, I'd go for it. The most you'd miss out on in the fall is probably just a set of tactile buttons, if that.

Wait until July 14th if you're buying new, then you won't have to pay the $9.99 2.0 fee

Well, he's buying off ebay so getting it for free wouldn't work. $350 is quite a good deal as well, 2.0 or no 2.0.

I imagine mint 32gbs will go even cheaper as september draws near. I already got a mint one for $300 before shipping on the forums.

B&HphotoVideo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=RetrieveSku&IC=APIPODT16&Q=&O=) has the 16gb Touch for $339. I ordered one for my Wife. Free shipping and no tax where I live.

I'd advise you to be VERY careful when buying these very cheap iPods on eBay... I recently got a 32GB for $310. Great deal, huh? Well, he closed his account and took the money. Now I am filing a claim on eBay and am waiting for a response. So, be very careful...

As is evident with the new iPhone release, there is no new hardware to put in the Touch. The best-case scenario is a price shift.
