You really can't make this stuff up.

Love the response on the police officer

Is this a UFO? (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7489457.stm)

Again? Didn't this happen a few days ago (in Wales) as well?
I think a Police helicopter spotted a "UFO"…

Here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7465041.stm) it is.

Apparently there were also 5 lights over Liverpool recently. Maybe we have 5 moons.

The audio clip is funny. The police officer investigating just sounds so put out!

" Yes, it's the moon. Over. "

:p

its none of that, the BBC has upped the budget for the doctor who specials next year and have gotten hold of a real flying TARDIS, maybe even with a working chamelion circuit. Damn I'm sad, I just want to see season finale tomorrow

An alien in rural Wales, you reckon?

Must be the only grey in the village.

Following the calls, South Wales Police has changed the way it answers the phone. Instead of saying "South Wales Police, how can I help?", control room staff now say "South Wales Police what is your emergency?"

Except that in this case they did say "what is your emergency". So not working clearly.

I'm a shift supervisor in a 911 dispatch centre. One night a guy phoned 911 to say that he was walking home from his drug dealer's house and a UFO was following him wherever he went. The calltaker very politely suggested that if the UFO was following him wherever he went, he'd probably do well to just walk over to the police station so we could all see it too. And he came right over, but sadly the UFO didn't show.

That's my favourite UFO story. My second favourite, was from a friend of mine who is an emergency room physician. One night a guy showed-up looking like hell and claimed to have been abducted by aliens while camping. He claimed that he had interrupted the aliens while they were "collecting fireflies". They said they found fireflies much more interesting than humans. And in a lot of cases I'd have to agree with them.

MLOL.

As you say, stuff like this can't be made up. Too funny.

You know, our moon is quite the trickster! ;)

I figured it was going to be a plane, but the moon is funnier. :D
