I have quiet a few movies, and the list keep growing.

What would you guy's recommend to shrink size WITHOUT loosing quality.

Like zipping, so when I watch, I unzip(or something like that) and then zip it back up when done viewing. 😎

Free is preferred.

Thanks,
Greg

Viewable copies? Not possible. Smaller size = lower quality.

Buy an external drive. I bought a Seagate 500 GB for around $180.

If you're looking for a compression utility, Stuffit's about the best. It's about $80. I tried it and the difference between the full size and compressed size was not enough to justify the expense.

The problem is that they are already compressed so it is all but impossible to compress them further without lowering the quality.
