1) Make sure the cable are attached to the card. Mine came preinstalled with "1" and "3" connected to the card.

2) 5GHz has shorter range than 2.4GHz but if 2.4GHz is crowded, you might have to use 5GHz, and move the wireless router closer.

3) Take note that the antennas on MP are on the bottom of the case. If you place the MP under a metal desk, you might get very weak signal.

4) Apple's document on wireless interferences.

1 & 3 you say...

1 and 3 are the two cables, yes. 2 is for Bluetooth. Unless you want to drop your reception it's highly recommended to fix them. :)

You can try "2" for bluetooth, but mine is pre-wired with a cable labelled "BT" to the bluetooth module.

That might've changed from the 2006 to 2008 Mac Pros - mine is a 2006. Which version do you have?

Yeah I got mine early 2007 (so its a 2006 model I guess). I'm going to change the #2 connection to #3 today and see if that helps.

Yeah 1 & 3 seem to do the trick, hope it lasts.

Thanks for the advice!
