I think everyone stopped listing color capabilities on LCD screens of all varieties once "millions" or more became the standard to match up with 32b video settings in OSX or XP.

I have no idea about the Touch screen.

According to CNET in a comparison review of the iPod touch, Archos 605 and the Creative zen Vision W, the Archos has 16.7 million (24 bit) colors while the Vision W and iPod have 262,000 (18 bit) colors.
