So I can buy a MBP with my iPhone 3G!?

Hey, I'm buying an iPhone 3G July 11th and then going on vacation a few days after. If an update comes out for MBP while I'm out mountain climbing in Montana will I be able to purchase it using the iPhone 3G (if i get service >.<)? Is that safe to do (entering credit card info)? Thx 🙂
 
well, I've never bought an apple product on their online store, but I have used the phone to purchase other things online, and found the process no different than if I had purchased it using my laptop. So I don't think that this should be any problem.
