Any good old games for macbook 2.2SR/BOOTcamp?

Hey guys I was just wondering what games can I run on my MB 2.2 Santa Rosa through Boot Camp? More specifically first person shooters?

Can I run Company of Heroes? Or some old Battle Field game?

Well... you have quite a few options there in running Boot Camp.

Basically as long as your computer meets the system requirements of a game you'd like to play, you'll be fine. The video card on the MacBook (not MBpro) has integrated graphics however, which means it isn't great. But your best bet is to just try it out by installing something you have in mind.

I have a 2.2 SR Macbook Pro too and the world is your oyster with regards to FPS games through bootcamp. I have or have tried Quake Wars, the Orange Box (which you're morally contracted to get), Far Cry, Halo, COD4 demo, I could go on. If you can try the demo first, do so. :)

FWIW, some shooters that run well in OS X on my MacBook Air (slower than yours)--and so, if you prefer Boot Camp, they'd run as well or better:

UT2004 (with latest patch, and detail turned down)
World of Padman (with detail turned UP, except use 16-bit textures)
Tremulous (with detail turned up)
The latter two are free.

I think the OP has a NON-Pro MacBook, so much lower graphics capability.

Halo runs great in Leopard or Windows (on a 2.2 SR Macbook Pro) though for the Mac you'll have to get the Universal App. downloaded for a $5 cost, from the following URL...

Just about the only game I play in Windows on my MacBook right now is Battlefield 1942. Ran perfectly in XP. Just as well in Vista, though it crashes occasionally.

Then again, since that's the only problem I've run into with Vista so far, I consider myself lucky! :D
