Is the iSight on the MBA the same as the MB and MBP as far as resolution?

The iSight in MBA is surely different than the one in MB. The image quality of the MBA iSight in low light situation is definitely poor in comparison. I don't know if it has the same resolution or not.

I think its the same camera only smaller, I played with the one on the MB, and I have a MBA and no different to me.

Most certainly different.
Surprisingly, Apple has omitted the resolution for the built-in iSight camera used in the MacBook Air. As noted from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macbook_air#Specifications), the camera is only of VGA resolution (640x480), while the MacBook/MacBook Pro use a megapixel resolution (1.2MP) camera.

I can certainly say that the camera doesn't have near the resolution as the MB or MBP.
It's usable but quite noisy in anything but optimal lighting.

I agree the camera on the MBA does seem weaker...the one on my imac is crisp!!!
