Monitor Madness help !!!

I just got a apple mac g5 and i need a tft flat screen monitor, my budget is £300. I have found one at pc world its a samsung flatscreen 17"( SM172V 17" TFT 1280 x 1024)
, but it has a vga out. I have seen a dvi to vga cable that i can connect to my mac and then the monitor.

Will this work?

if I were you I would get a large crt instead. lcd are not practical at all. you will be able to get a 21" crt and save money as well as have a much higher max res.

think the mac's come with a dvi to vga cable

Yeah, your G5 comes with the DVI-VGA adapter in the box.
