I'm looking to upgrade my iMac 24in 2.8 ghz' stock 2gb ram up to 4 gigs buying ram from 3rd party suppliers for the price.
I'm wondering whether or not the ram I've got in my iMac now is divided into 2 1 gb sticks, or, hopefully, just 1 2g stick. I'd rather not have to buy two 2gig sticks and then have to go through selling my 1gig sticks.
Any recommendations? Is there any timing/compatibility issues I need to keep an eye on?
