Line for the 3G iPhone?

I am wondering if there will be a long line to wait for the 3G iPhone. I remember when the 2G iPhone came out, there was only about 20 tops waiting. Not as long as expected. What are your thoughts?:apple::apple::apple:

I plan on picking up a copy of the New York Times at 7:00 AM and queue until it's showtime. I'm not in an area where many people will want/can afford the iPhone 3G, so I look forward to a very small line.
