I am thinking of going either to the o2 shop in Livingston or going to the gyle in edinburgh to get a new iphone. Anyone here going to anyone in particular in either Livingston or Edinburgh?

Maybe Livingston will be a better bet as I'd imagine the Gyle store might be quite busy what with all the offices nearby?

I thought the same about the gyle but depending on weather i might be going to the scottish open so may take a detour to the apple store in glasgow or failing that Livingston is where i'll be going.:)

I'm not sure what to do tbh. I never had any luck with the O2 online ordering, so am wondering if its even worth trying a local O2 store or should I just wait and order one online for delivery whenever they have stock. I guess it depends just how many handsets stores are going to get and how many people are determined to get one on Friday.

Oddly the manager in the Livi branch claimed today to have plenty of stock available for Friday and doubts he'll have the demand for it :D

I checked in the Gyle branch today and they said they had no idea how many they were getting and didn't really seem bothered/interested. Hmmm, so it might be worth a trip to Livingston on Friday morning?

this is way OT but I could not find any message board related to accomodation in Livingston in West Lothian area.

am very interested for a short stay of a month in May.
am a professional from Singapore in petrochemicals industry whom will be visiting friends and business acquaintances so I will not be in the place much except perhaps the weekends, while the girlfriend(met her at a bmw car club meet up in Singapore) is having a month long attachment as a medical student in St John's hospital in Livingston, West Lothian. Her parents will be there as well for 2 weeks.

Someone responded to my search on craigslist but I am having some doubts as some details he provided me seem contradictory and he is asking me for a Western Union payment.

My main concern is looking for a place within walking distance to the hospital as the hotels and inns also seem to be relatively not as accessible

Will truly appreciate any suggestions and be nice to be able to get you a drink at least for your efforts when I am there.

I think the address does exist but I assume it's a B&B and not a hotel?

Search for "Columbia Avenue, Livingston" using Google Maps.

There are several hotels in the area and some not far from the hospital you mention.

I'd be very wary of paying that person money. Western Union payments are not very common for someone in the UK to request and it looks like he's copied that address from Google Maps which is why it is not listed correctly.
