Just picked up a new Macbook Pro 17" :)

Just sold my 15" from 07 and picked up the following:

Specifications:

* 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
* 200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm
* SuperDrive 8X DVD+R DL/DVD+RW/CD-RW)
* MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Resolution Widescreen Display

Also have a 4GB mem upgrade that I will be putting in later tonight.

Very pleased so far 🙂

Do you notice that it's much heavier than your previous 15". Does it get any hotter?
 
yeah cheers, I've the same config and have been very pleased. Best machine I've ever had

I love the 17" and I had one for a bit but I returned it...
lame reason I know, but I wear a metal watch strap and it was right on the middle of the palm rest and would scratch the palmrest and dig into my wrist so I'd have to take my watch off to use it... pain in the butt!

I hope you love it!
