A Christmas tree on your desktop accompanied by chrismas music playing in the background. Freeware but I wish the tree wasn't situated in that box. Would be nice if it sat alone much like the clock.

Thank you for the link Gymnut. I can't personally use this program, still OS 9. Did E.Mail it to my wife so that she can enjoy it for the holidays.

There was an old holiday program for OS 9 (maybe even 8!) called Holiday Lights I believe. It would put lights around the edge of your screen - you could have christmas lights, halloween lights, any holiday. It also played simple midi music and made a cool screensaver. Not sure where you would find it these days...

I remember using it though if memory serves me correct, which sometimes it doesn't, this program was freeware. In any case, here it is:
