3G iPhone Help (dual ATT accounts)

This might be dumb question but my wife and I have two lines on our at&t account. My wife has an iphone and I do not. Could I use her iphone to buy me an iphone 3g at the cheaper price?

I had the same question.

My only thought right now is that she can purchase the iPhone have it activated on your line and then you can activate hers on your line.

Either you keep the 2G iPhone or switch numbers to get the 3G.
