Spoke to AT&T person and said daily shipments

I spoke to a AT&T person today and they said that they have already gotten their first shipment in and another to come each day until needs are met.
 
Ya I went into an AT&T store today also and was told the same thing.
Specifically, I was trying to find out how much stock they would have on Friday since I can't go until after work (6:00pm).

Unfortunately, I was told they were only had a hundred or so today, and were expecting more every day, but that still only means each store would get like 200 or 300 for Friday, which seems kind of low.
It might sell out by the time I get there around dinner time!
 
i doubt it will sell out. for many reasons. this isnt the FIRST phone, its not that much better. but mainly because for this time around you have to be upgrade eligible. not as many ppl are compared to the original phone where anyone could buy it.

Does "more every day" include tomorrow, meaning they'll get more? Or do they mean after Friday that they'll get more stock. I bet they'll only have ~100/store and get more to meet demand over the weekend.

Seems silly to me. If you have the iPhones in a warehouse somewhere, why not store them in the store so you can sell them rather than have to restock every day. You end up with lots of customers with no iPhone.
 
We just saw some video of a ATT store getting its Iphone shipment...so I believe that was like 50 to 60 Iphones....
Breakdown of shipment

10 white 16 GB
30 black 8 GB
20 Black 16 GB

They will probably get the same type of shipment tommorrow...so that is 120 phones. That should be enough for friday...they will get about 60 phones on friday or monday. So if you miss out on friday and Saturday you will have monday.

Apple is not playing around. They are not like nintendo...
