I gotta sticky situation down here. Hmm, can I use remote disc to install windows based apps while running the windows operating system on my Mac?

I wanna install this software called Ulead Video Studio. Can I use remote disc then?

Oh look! Someone from my own country!

Anyway, I'm no macbook air owner but looking at the article's title, I think it might be possible. Take a look here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1777?viewlocale=en_US

I have no idea, but as long as the disk is not used for copy protection then you can probably just make a windows share and install from that in windows. (over the network)

And I'm sure Ulead Video Studio does not use and disk protection.

I know this is only a *minor* hassle - but it's things like this that make me glad for disk images on OS X!

If you're installing in Parallels or VMWare, it might work. However, it won't work if you're using Bootcamp and booting directly into Windows.
