iPod Do I need to "unjailbreak" my Ipod touch for 2.0?

I'm interested in buying the 2.0 firmware upgrade when it comes out do I need to unjailbreak it or will 2.0 do it for me?

You'll have to do a restore most likely, even if you don't it'd probably be best to.

I'm so dumb for jailbreaking it I don't even use the apps! and now i have to restore =[ thanks for your help🙂

It's cool. Currently I am restoring my iPod too. I jailbroke mine and the only thing I did was combine the video icon with the music icon to make 1 iPod icon like the iPhone. Quite the waste of work after all that work (at the time) I had to do to jailbreak it.

but do you think if I just leave it like that and upgrade to 2.0 will it damage my iPod touch?

it can't hurt it at all (no way to brick a touch [sorta]) but it'd just make more sense to restore it in iTunes so you don't have any extra files wasting space on your iPod, or corrupting anything.
