That's just about the app store which opened a few hours ago. Is not an indicator that the iPod Touch 2.0 firmware is due in... 2 minutes now? As much as I'd love it to, it's all about the iPhone for now.

I am sure it will be released concurrently with the 2.0 for iPhone.

Judging by the overwhelming speeds of new threads and posts on these forums alone, I would hazard a guess that Apple's servers are going to be in for a battering come download time. Give it another hour.

Yes, the 2.0 is "available" for the iPhone but I prefer getting it officially…

Yeah, there's a new one saying tomorrow. Echoing the older one that said 11/7. I really can't see how people managed to actually think that it would come before that, but whatever.
