My local UK Apple store has white iPhones...

Um...why pointless, I haven't seen anyone else post proof that UK apple stores are actually getting white iphones...

What did i miss?
 
I believe you...I think.
So given that I want a white one, I'm going to try the Apple Store rather than O2/CPW. Worth a shot...
 
I feel that the Apple stores will have the white one -- but what happens to the poor souls like myself that can not upgrade in the Apple store?
 
Staff in the Regent St store yesterday said they were selling the white iPhone. Can't confirm if they are right or wrong but assume that they should know ??
 
why cant Apple retail store sell iPhone to those existing O2 customers looking for upgrades but still paying for the new iPhone?

i am basically looking for the 159 pounds iPhone and will keep the 1st gen iPhone and stay at the same tariff. So why couldn't I grab an iPhone from an Apple Retail store and pop the old O2 sim into the new one?
