I'm not sure if I'm in the right place. I just found this site on Google while searching. I'm a second grade teacher and have two old imac OS 8.6 desk top computers in my classroom. They were manufactured in 1998. I have more info if needed, but my question is, are there any educational games (spelling, reading, math) that are still available for these computers for kids this age. And, where can I find them. Thank you.

I don't know if they all work for 8.6 but you can download abandonware games: Link (http://209.120.136.205/index.php?show=category&cat=Learning)

EDIT: Mario Teaches Typing is one of my personal favorites :p

FWIW, http://www.versiontracker.com has a "classic" section for older Mac software downloads.

I still have a few educational games for that system.
List : Language Learning With Astrix
The Incredible Machine
3D Atlas (it has a quiz)
Fly!

I can't remember the names of the other "exploring" kids games.I'll edit if it pops up in my head.
