I have the ipod touch for a while now and I'm wondering how I can set the ipod up so it repeats podcasts that I want to listen to over and over again. I select the option on the ipod but it doesn't work and it won't do it if I put it in a play list. What is going on here?

Second question, why can't I selectively sync the music I want to put on the ipod, why does it have to be all or nothing with the pre-defined options (excluding the playlists selection)?

You can do either manual sync (and drag songs you want over selectively) or just do automatic songs, and just un-check songs that you don't want copied - is that what you mean?

I had the same problem with the podcast getting them to repeat, my only advice is that you open it in Finder / explorer and then drag the mp3 into your library (so that it becomes a 'song'). Then you will be able to repeat it - this wouldn't really be efficent if it is more than a single one-off situation.
