I tried to get an iPhone today from Telstra, Australia's largest phone company.
They had a big launch, but actually sold few phones because their
account creation system was faulty all day. I had to walk away empty
handed, even though I signed a contract. I got a call saying it may be
cleared up tomorrow (Saturday), but definitely by Monday, which of course
is well behind the rest of the world.

See the relevant "stock" threads on Whirlpool.

I'm a Telstra customer; I reckon I can "bash" however I want.

Besides, this is an important news item worthy of it's own thread.
"Thousands without iPhone due to Telstra fault".

The UK O2 customers seem to think the same way in their own thread.
