mt Itunes does not see firmware version 2.00

After going to buy the iphone 3g 16g and not getting one (i got up at 6.30 and they ran out at the o2 store but thats another story). I am trying to update the iphone to 2.00 but my itunes update iphone only has 1.14.... any ideas anyone??
 
I understand that you are going nuts, but can we at least check spelling first?

firmware 2.0 is still not released yet.
 
It's the same for everybody, I think Apple are holding out until MobileMe is stable.
