Did it come pre-activated, or did you have to activate it on iTunes? If so, what was the process? Did it work OK or is it having the same problem as O2's servers in store?

Mines not here yet, but from what I can gather all the O2 stuff they are having trouble with in the stores in done, phone just needs unbricked in iTunes.
