YEHH I was first to buy this game off app store uk i think, when i got it the download count was still 0 ! i feel special

nope, it accelerates itself
you simply steer, and press different parts of the screen if you want to perform an action or jump, or skid round a corner
Cro-Mag Rally you have to hold down the forward or reverse button which gets really annoying.
Crash you just steer and tap the screen for action/jump which makes it much better in my book.

Both my phone and my computer are saying it's no longer available. Boo.
EDIT: It looks like it is downloading now, via the phone. If you have trouble on the computer, try getting it on your phone. It'll download over EDGE...but not quickly.

i couldn't find this in the iTunes store - when i searched for Games it wasn't there
but i found the weblink on the Touch Arcade store, clicked that, and it brought it up in iTunes and i was able to download

Haha, I remember last week when videos of this were posted and thought to be fake. It looks like they ported it well, will probably download. (This game was so fun on PS1!!)
Downloaded tonight on the US servers.
You won't find it under Games, you have to choose "All iPhone Applications" and scroll through to "A-E"

Crash Team Racing on the PS1 had a different developer
Back then the Crash games were developed by Naughty Dog. Since then they've gone through a few different developers. I'd love to give this one a try, but no demo. I'm not taking a $10 shot in the dark...
