Adding to Family Plan

I'm in line at the UTC Apple store and they just handed out the service plan sheets. I am on a family plan so can I just add on the $30 for 3G and $5 for 200 txts? Anyone done this yet?

I'm actually in the same boat. The account holder for our family plan is out of state. I'm currently away at school now, and I just want to walk in and buy my iPhone lol. I wonder if they'll let me...?

I called ATT last night to make sure I was authorized to change the account. They wanted the primary account holders SSN, which I gave and they said I should be good to go. Forgot to ask about adding to the plan though.
