A new problem!

I've been going through the crashed iTunes activation for a while, and finally something new - my phone lights up... and...

"Activation Alert:
No signal detected. Signal is required to complete activation"

Whaaaat? Still not seeing anything on iTunes.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I have had this contract for nearly 2 years...

PS - still can't connect to Apple to activate, but I put my old sim in and BOOM everything works, just can't sync.
