Apple's TV adverts make out that life with Apple is so easy.

Things just work, they are intuitive and creative.. You buy a product and it works out of the box and can talk to all your other devices..

NOW lets get to the reality......

Apple you've muffed up on the ipod touch 2.0 firmware. Your online apple.com site states "Buy The Software Update" and has a little link which doesn't do anything and hasn't done anything all frick'in day long..

Why have the "buy now" link? Why tease your cusotmers?

So despite all of the "Apple your so great" actually you're just the same as microsoft you just employ a better PR team...

Servers crash on the day of a huge, worldwide launch. Yeah, I think that Apple's one day temporary screw-up brings them to the same level as Microsoft, who has practiced like this for eons.

With all the confusion, the mods are probably pretty busy, it's the perfect time for the trolls to come out.

The Wasteland is quick crowded today, but I'm sure they'll eventually find room for this thread.

I don't really see this thread going anywhere. Suffice to say Apple got hit pretty hard today and they didn't cope to customers expectations and this has left some feeling the need to be angry but you have said you piece lets leave it at that.
